Breakfast and After School Club, (School Age to 11 years)

Our After School Club offers sessional care – before and after school hours and in school holidays. They offer your child a safe, stimulating place in which to play or take part in a wide range of activities and crafts.

After School Club – 3.00pm till 6.00pm

The Trees After School Club provides a safe, friendly and secure environment where a variety of activities are offered including access to computers, arts, crafts and games .The children are also given the opportunity to relax or read in a “quiet” area. A light meal and juice will be available if required served at 3.45 for all children attending After Schools Club.

Our aim is to provide a stable, secure and relaxed environment for children to develop their full potential through positive, social, emotional, physical and intellectual experiences.

Before School, Breakfast Club – 8.00am till 9.00am

In addition to our After Schools Club the Trees also provide before school sessions. Parents can drop their child off before their school day starts. If required we can provide breakfast, before escorting your child to a local school.

Escorting your Child to and from School

The Trees can escort your child to school and collect them from school when attending our Breakfast and After School Club sessions. Many parents and carers have a procedure for school collection that is agreed and known to the parents, children, nursery staff and school staff. This information is recorded in The Trees Information Schedule, completed during the child’s first settling in period.

Equipment and Materials

The Trees supply all equipment and materials for all craft and play activities, collage, sport and games, dressing up, music, jigsaws and construction toys. Our nurseries provide a wide variety of age appropriate play equipment. All equipment and materials are always in good supply for the number of children attending or likely to attend any session.

All equipment used indoors or outdoors is routinely inspected and maintained to ensure safety at all times.

Visits, Outings and Holiday Clubs

In order to add to the children’s interest and enjoyment, The Trees regularly plan visits and outings to local amenities and attractions. This applies particularly to our Holiday Clubs, when extra care is required to cover school holiday periods.

Any visit or outings are carefully planned, where necessary, additional staff are engaged to ensure sufficient ratios to maintain safety. There must be agreed arrangements and parental permission in writing prior to undertaking any visits or outings.

Whilst attending The Trees Holiday Club , a full cooked lunch is served at 12 noon and a light meal at 3.45pm. A healthy mid morning snack is provided as well as drinks throughout the day.
